Danique is a headstrong girl with a strong urge to prove she can be a hero. She does not want to grow food like her parents tell her. Growing up in a dominant male society, Danique dreams of becoming a swordswoman.

Civil
Civil is a boy who is cursed and remains small, but he doesn't mind. He enjoys playing with his cards because a figure from the cards is his invisible playmate. After being sold by his parents, Civil manages to escape from his buyer with the help of his playmate.

Yar'tea
Yar'tea grew up in a small community that lives in harmony with nature. His curiosity and boundless energy often get him into trouble. Two friends invite him along for a squirrel hunt. Yar'tea gets distracted and ends up lost far from home.
